Astronomy with an expert guide and an AI you can converse with. The Roofless AI Experience is our premium small group tour (max. 12) in San Pedro de Atacama, now with Vera, a virtual guide who answers your questions live in English.
Jhonatan guides you, specialist in astro-tourism and official ACEAP 2026 Ambassador. Orient the telescopes and make sure everyone gets their time at the eyepiece. Vera provides the answers; Jhonatan, the warmth.
Include: • Two 16" telescopes for deep sky • Outings only with less than 50% moon • Blankets, wine, hot chocolate or tea, and snacks • Professional photo under the desert sky • Transfer from your accommodation in San Pedro
Well know: 2.5 to 3 hours with transfer. Minimum age 10 years; families with younger children can book a private tour. You don't need to know about astronomy.

What you’ll do
The tour begins with the pick-up of passengers at the accommodation, this usually takes approximately 30 minutes, then we will move to our facilities about 7km outside of San Pedro where our guide will wait for them.
We will give you a brief welcome talk and take souvenir photographs. It is very important to come with warm, light-colored clothing.
Afterwards we will have a short talk about astronomy related to star formation and the use of telescopes.
Finally, we will use the 14-inch telescopes to discover the universe, where you can enjoy, depending on the date of your trip, different types of stars, nebulae, planets and other objects that will leave you speechless.
Once the experience is over, we begin the return to San Pedro, leaving all passengers in their respective lodgings.
