Dalmaji-gil (Moontan Road): This scenic hillside next to Haeundae Beach is known as Dalmaji-gil, or Moontan Road, a beloved spot for both locals and visitors. As you drive along the winding coastal road, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of the deep blue ocean, pine-covered slopes, and the striking line of modern skyscrapers that shape Haeundae’s skyline. In spring, the road becomes even more magical as the cherry blossom lane bursts into bloom, creating a beautiful pink canopy along the way. It’s one of the most picturesque drives in Busan, offering a perfect blend of nature and city scenery.
Haedong Yonggungsa Buddhist Temple (Temple of the Dragon Palace): One of Busan’s most beloved and iconic attractions, Haedong Yonggungsa is a rare seaside temple built dramatically along the rocky shoreline. As you approach, you’ll be greeted by peaceful bamboo groves and the sound of waves crashing against the cliffs. The path leads you through a series of stone statues and viewpoints before you descend the 108 steps, symbolizing the cleansing of earthly desires. At the bottom, the temple opens up to breathtaking ocean views, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere that feels worlds away from the city.
- There are 108 stair steps to reach the temple area, but a ramp is also available as an alternative.
- The time spent at each location may vary depending on the group’s pace.
Gwangan Bridge (Diamond Bridge): During the tour, we’ll cross the famous Gwangandaegyo Bridge, often called the Diamond Bridge—one of Busan’s most iconic landmarks. Stretching elegantly over the ocean between Haeundae and Gwangalli, the bridge offers fantastic panoramic views of the coastline, the city skyline, and the sparkling blue water below. On a clear day, you can even catch a glimpse of Tsushima Island in Japan far out on the horizon. As we drive across, you’ll get a unique perspective of Busan’s blend of modern architecture and natural beauty, making it a memorable highlight of the journey.
Cross the impressive Busan Harbor Bridge and enjoy panoramic views of the port, coastline, and city skyline.
Jagalchi Fish Market: As the largest fish market in Korea, Jagalchi is a vibrant and lively place where you can experience Busan’s seafood culture at its fullest. The market is bustling with energy—vendors calling out, fresh catches displayed on colorful stalls, and an incredible variety of sea creatures swimming in tanks. From fish and shellfish to octopus and crabs, the market is truly alive, offering a fascinating look at the daily rhythm of life by the sea. It’s a place where tradition, livelihood, and the ocean come together, giving you an authentic glimpse into the heart of Busan’s fishery lifestyle.

Once a quiet residential area tucked away in a hidden valley, it has transformed into a lively artistic community filled with creative installations, small galleries, and quirky shops. As you explore, you’ll get a glimpse of how the local residents and artists worked together to turn the old village into a bright, international cultural landmark while still preserving its warm, lived‑in atmosphere.
- The walking route is about 600 meters (0.4 miles) along a mostly flat street. If you prefer to take it easy, there are plenty of benches, cafés, and viewpoints where you can relax and enjoy the scenery.
