What you’ll do
We are not allowed to fly very close to Sigiriya Lion Rock since it's an archaeological site. Usually, we watch it, but not very closely. Depending on the flight path, you may have a panoramic view of the iconic Sigiriya Rock, a UNESCO World Heritage site, rising dramatically from the surrounding plains.
Enjoy the picturesque scenery of the Sri Lankan countryside, with its lush greenery, vibrant fields, and meandering rivers.
Keep an eye out for wildlife, as hot air balloons often provide a unique opportunity to spot animals from above. This can include birds, elephants, and other wildlife native to the area.
Depending on the flight route, you might pass over traditional villages, allowing you to observe local life and architecture from a different perspective.
ou’ll witness the breathtaking moment when the sun rises over the landscape of Kandalama Lake, bathing the surroundings in a warm, golden light. Sunset flights offer a different kind of magic, with stunning views as the sun gently sets over the horizon.

Our takeoff site is close to the Golden Temple, offering a chance to see it up close or from a distance, depending on the wind direction.
