Cartagena's Rosario Islands 5-Site Boat Tour with Lunch & Snorkel
Overview
What sets the full-day Eco and VIP tours apart is a focus on serene relaxation, pristine Caribbean nature, and family-friendly comfort. Tailored specifically for families, couples, and travelers seeking tranquil escapes, these day trips prioritize a nature escape to the beautiful Rosario Islands. The Eco Tour provides an immersive, marine-focused journey with sightseeing at Bocachica Fort and Pablo Escobar's estate, paired with coral reef snorkeling and 1.5-hour stops at Marina Island, Grande Island, and Rosario Island. For an elevated experience, the VIP Tour features the same cultural sightseeing and snorkeling but upgrades your day to a high-comfort speedboat, and offering exclusive 1.5-hour visits to premium beach clubs at Islabela Island, Grande Island for lunch, and Rosario de Mar resort. Both options swap chaotic crowded beaches for a safe, calm environment where you can unwind on shaded beach beds and swim in crystal-clear waters at a relaxed pace.
What you’ll do
Both tours (VIP & ECO) will have a sightseeing stop from the boat at the Bocachica fort to take pictures and learn about its history of naval & pirate battles.
The Eco Tour kicks off at a scenic island famous for its wildlife with direct access to crystalline waters and comfortable beach beds. Meanwhile, the VIP Tour begins with an exclusive experience at Islabela Island, where guests enjoy a private section and personalized service.
Both tours will then enjoy a sightseeing stop from the boat past Pablo Escobar’s former island mansion, adding a unique visual highlight of the Rosario Islands.
Both tours will then head to a separate island for snorkeling and lunch. VIP guests will have exclusive access to a private island beach club separately on another point of the island. Guests can unwind on beach beds under parasols, swim, or enjoy the scenery. Lunch is included, with on-site fish, chicken, or vegetarian options. Before the meal, both tours will enjoy an exclusive 30-45 minute snorkeling experience at a nearby fish habitat.
To conclude the day, VIP guests enjoy a premium finale at an island resort, following a day of bespoke service and travel via a comfort speedboat. The Eco Tour winds down at Rosario Island, offering a peaceful retreat with beach chairs and parasols.
