My Son Sanctuary Vietnam is a well-known attraction as the Unesco World Heritage. It is from Hoi An ancient town about 60 km. It is obvious evidence of an ancient civilization of the Kingdom of Champa from the 4th to the 13th centuries in central Vietnam.

Nowadays, My Son Sanctuary Hoi An is the remaining clusters of ruined temples following Hinduism architecture but it still attracts a lot of tourists from around the world who love ancient architecture as well as the mysterious history of the Champa Kingdom.

ITINERARY:

  • At 14:00 pm: Our Hoi An Private Car and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An Ancient Town or Da Nang City. Please note that the free pick-up just applied to the hotels/ homestay in the city center. We start the My Son Sunset Tour. Along the way to My Son Sanctuary, our local guide will tell you a lot of valuable information about the Champa Kingdom; how the Vietnamese expanded the country nowadays.
  • My Son Sunset Tour from Hoi An
    After 1 hour, we get to My Son Holy Land. Our local expert will give you an overview of the Holy Land area, the remaining clusters of temple towers, and the layout of the sanctuary. You will have a chance to learn more about:
    The setting of the sanctuary
    How they made the bricks
    What kind of glue, and mortar they used to stick the bricks together
    How they worshiped the gods and the worshiped ceremony.
    Function and meanings of the buildings in the ruin clusters.
  • Besides, exploring  My Son Sunset Tour from Hoi An, you will have a great chance to enjoy the wonderful Apsara dance performance; the Ancient Champa Royal dance restored by the local people and government.
